I hear people complain about it, and I'm not saying they are great... but some times they are cheaper, and you can get more for your money there. YES, it is a greedy company not giving anything to its community, and corporate companies suck! But I don't have that much money and when all the local companies are charging too much or more then what I can afford this is where I have to go sometimes. Local healthy stores that are doing good things supposedly for the community are also charging WAY TOO MUCH MONEY!! Sorry, but it's true... - Jeni ~> , posted 11/25/07 |

you may spend more at a local shop somewhere but I promise that it's worth the extra buck... for your family and your community! spend a buck 50 at walmart and maybe 5 cents of that will stay in you community... spend a buck 50 at a local shop and all but maybe 20-30 cents will stay in your community. over time, this equates to larger wages for you and your family! the point is that you are not really saving money by shopping at that big box retailer you are actually taking money out of your local economy and eventually, out of your paycheck. - beau , posted 02/08/07 |
