Wow... I ate at Starlite restaurant in Austin tonight and it was fulfilling! The food was beautifully presented, refreshing but simple and extremely delicious all at the same time. The staff was so warm and friendly and the executive chef presented us with our amuse bouche and was even concerned as to whether or not we were vegetarians. Attention to detail was obvious and the atmosphere relaxed and also eventful. My dear friend who accompanied me is an avid tea drinker and was very impressed to enjoy a delicate cup of floral loose tea at the end of her meal. Traditionally, I enjoyed a well brewed cup of espresso. Loooonggg story short you should make your next big dining purchase at Starlite. Note: The torrentes white wine by Crios is delightfully fragrant, medium bodied and refreshing. Get it. - Alissa , posted 01/20/06 |
