I saw that they were advertised as GLBT friendly..so we went for dinner on a Saturday night, I am a TG that is fairly passable and my dining partner and I both noticed that the waiter was pointedly adressing me as Sir , and so on..at first I thought it was normal pronoun difficulties but it was obvious by the end of dinner..couldnt even tell you what thje food was like I was so upset..but to their favor, when I called mngmt the next day he was very attentive and promised to get to the heart of the matter and have a discussion with him...was it lip service ..whos to say .. - Rikki , posted 09/20/05 |

Like all the best places in Austin, this place looks like it grew out of someone's house. The original Kerbey Lane is an institution in Austin -- a great place to get huge pancakes, original enchilada combinations, migas, you name it. And it's open all day, every day. Everything is made fresh, with many ingredients grown on their own farm. They feature lots of vegetarian dishes, although they are not exclusively vegetarian.
