See This movie!
Last week I saw the movie: ”America: from Freedom to Fascism”. And I've got to tell you all that rarely have I seen as much mind-stunning revelation and cry for collective civil disobedience displayed on the screen.

The director Aaron Russo (producer of “The Rose” with Bett Midler and “Trading Places” with Eddie Murphy and several other movies) had originally just wanted to do a little documentary about those crazy people who choose not to pay income taxes in the U.S. But, as he began investigating more and more, he realized what major frauds income tax and the Federal Reserve were and how they have altered our entire government from freedom to fascism for the last 85+ years. It is VERY compelling. After seeing it, you feel that if you don't immediately go out on the streets and engage in proactive civil disobedience, you have no honesty or integrity at all.

There is one scene where a woman talks about being a jurist at the trial of Whitey Harrell in Illinois. He was being prosecuted for income tax evasion and he WON because the jury realized that something was not right when no one, not even the judge, could produce any law that stated he had to pay income tax. The integrity in that woman's voice was just resounding. I almost cried. She said something like she never had felt more patriotic in her life than when the jury came to that decision, even though the court was putting very high pressure on them to return a guilty verdict. THAT, in my humble opinion, was integrity and honesty.

I already knew about the two main arguments Russo makes:

1) That there is no law whatsoever stating that we must pay federal income tax. In fact, the Consititution specifically forbids the type of income tax individuals normally pay (unappropriated direct tax).

2) That the Federal Reserve is a private not a federal organization. It essentially is a cartel of bankers who control the government and are working to merge with the central bankers of other countries so that they can more easily control the world: new world order.

I had already read Creature From Jekyll Island, by G. Edward Griffin. I already knew about the “crazies” who protested and didn't pay taxes. But, seeing this movie woke something the fuck up in me. And now, I don't know. I'm going to have to make a very clear choice. National ID cards are coming, people: May 2008. I recommend everyone see this movie. Stand up for your personal integrity. I'm not usually one to prostelitize this sort of thing. But I am now. - Marpa , posted 08/04/06
