Saturday 9:00am - 12 Noon - Turkish Rom
Focus on the Rom 9/8 rhythm, foot work and gestures of the Turkish Romani. Wear a Gypsy Skirt (or buy one from Sahhira) and bring your zills ! Zambra/Flamenco Moro-Basic Flamenco foot, hand and skirt work. The class will also include a historic overview of Ancient Andalusian Dance,
Zambra or "Barefoot Flamenco" and Modern Flamenco.
Saturday 1:00pm - 4:00pm - Gypsy Sword
There will be a few practice swords, but if you have your own, please bring it.
Full day of workshop and show ! Both Sahhira (Gypsy Witch Productions) and Gitane will have treasures for sale. Sahhira has those HUGE skirts for reasonable prices.
